Deputly is the next generation of a CRM platform that enterprise teams already pay for. The pipelines, tasks, and fields came first — proven on real operations. What's new is the Ethiopian company register in front of them, and an AI that drafts but never signs.
Why start from the register
Most CRMs begin at the wrong end. They organize the deals you already have and stay silent about the market you don't. In Ethiopia that silence is expensive — the data exists, but it lives in registries, PDFs, and other people's heads.
So we kept the unglamorous spine — pipelines, tasks, owners, custom fields, an activity history with one version of events — and put the company register in front of it. The AI helps with setup and keeps drafts coming; a person approves everything that enters the workspace.
We build in Addis Ababa because the context is the product: the company data, the two languages, and the way deals actually move here.
